Georgia, UK to Hold Joint Military Exercises

Georgian Deputy Defense Minister Paata Gaprindashvili and military attach? of the UK to Georgia Chris Nunn signed the memorandum over holding joint military exercises Georgian Express ? 2004.

The exercises, which include bilateral infantry training, will be held at the Vaziani military base near Tbilisi on July 1-20 and will involve 170 British officers and soldiers from the rifle volunteers a reserve battalion based in the south-east of England, according to the press release issued by the British embassy in Georgia.

Officers and soldiers of the 11th brigade will participate in the military exercises from the Georgian side.
