State Radio Launches Ossetian Broadcast

A Georgian state radio station, on June 7, started a two-hour program to be aired daily in the Ossetian language, for the Ossetian-speaking population living in Georgia?s breakaway South Ossetian region.

This new program, which features news as well as cultural overviews and related content, supplements a short news program in the Ossetian language that already exists on Georgian State Television.
