Adjarian, Abkhazian Security Ministries Disbanded

The Parliament approved on May 18 with the first hearing proposal to disband Security Ministry of Adjara Autonomous Republic.

The Parliament also canceled with the first hearing Tbilisi-based Abkhazian Security Ministry, which was under the subordination of the Abkhaz government-in-exile.

?There should be one Security Ministry in Georgia. We have recently canceled the Intelligence Department, which was an independent agency,? Georgian Security Minister Zurab Adeishvili told the lawmakers at the Parliamentary session on May 18.
