UN Offers Shevardnadze to Become Annan’s Advisor

Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and Deputy Executive Director of UNICEF Kul Chandra Gautam arrived in Tbilisi on April 16 to offer ex-President Eduard Shevardnadze to become advisor of UN Secretary General Kofi Annan.  

“If somebody needs my opinions over various issues, I am always ready to help,” Eduard Shevardnadze said during the talks at the Krtsanisi governmental residence.
