Finance Officials Visit Adjara

Georgian finance officials, including chiefs of tax, customs and financial police, as well as Deputy Finance Minister arrived on April 6 in Adjarian capital Batumi.

“Our visit aims at joint discussing of financial issues between the center and the region. We should establish order at the customs and introduce new rules of the cooperation,” chief of the Customs Department Giorgi Godabrelidze said.

Georgian President’s representatives to port of Batumi and Sarpi customs checkpoint also started to fulfill their duties on April 6 to monitor Adjara’s two cash rich facilities.
