IDPs Seized Administrative Office in Zugdidi, Hold Minister in Hostage

Internally displaced persons from Abkhazia blocked on January 20 the regional administrative building in the western town of Zugdidi holding inside newly appointed Minister for Refugees and Accommodation Eter Astemirova.

IDPs from Abkhazia have not received their allowances for several months. 

The IDPs said they would not release the Minister, until the authorities pay the debt on allowances for three months.
