Security Measures Increased for the New Years Eve

The State Security Ministry increased security measures in the downtown Tbilisi as the city prepares for the New Year celebration.

“Around 400 employees of the Security Ministry, as well as the policemen will be on high alert tonight,” Valeri Khaburdzania, the Security Minister said on December 31.

Thousands of Georgians are expected to attend the shows and performances that will be held in the downtown Tbilisi to celebrate the New Year.
