Shevardnadze Demands Distribution of Salaries, Pensions

President Shevardnadze demanded from the government members to ensure distribution of the salaries and pensions.

?There is no time for election campaigning. We must distribute salaries and pensions. This would be the best election campaign,? President Shevardnadze said at the government?s meeting today.

?Everybody is talking that there are no pensions and salaries. We must do everything to provide people with the pensions and salaries,? he added.
