Pro-Presidential Bloc Fails to Agree on MP Candidates List

The presidential-backed election alliance For New Georgia still fails to agree on list of MP candidates. Each party and movement of the bloc demands to be in the top of the list, in order to secure places in the Parliament.

Being in the top of the list of candidates, increases chances to become the Member of Parliament, in case the party or bloc clears 7% barrier during the elections.

There are up to 15 parties and movements united in the presidential-backed election bloc.

?Everybody demands more than it is possible to get. But I hope we will reach an agreement,? MP Zezva Gugunishvili of the pro-presidential bloc told reporters today.
