Four Die in Car Blast in Abkhazia
(Tbilisi, August 4, 2003, Civil Georgia) – Reports say at least four employees of the customs committee of breakaway Abkhazia died and two were wounded as a result of explosion of a car in the Gali district on August 4.
Russian media sources report quoting the statement of the Interior Ministry of breakaway Abkhazia, that a minibus of the State Customs Committee was attacked near a village of Chuburkhinji.
The de facto authorities of Abkhazia accused the Georgian guerrillas of masterminding explosion.
