Air Company President Shot Dead

(Tbilisi, July 17, 2003, Civil Georgia) – President of the SakAviaService air company Akop Arutinov was murdered with gunshot on July 16 in the capital city of Tbilisi.

Unknown person attacked Arutinov and then escaped with the victim’s car.

Vice-President of another Georgian air company Airzena Kakha Asatiani was also shot dead in his car in the center of Tbilisi last November.
