Georgian Company Exports Beer, Water to Iraq

(Tbilisi, July 10, 2003, Civil Georgia) – A Georgian company Kazbegi started export of beer, cold drink products to Iraq.

The company has already exported 45 thousand bottles of beer and “Cold Tea” to Iraq.
 
“Kazbegi has concluded a freight contract with the Turkish transportation company Teta. The contract is long-term and costs USD 20 thousand,” Head of the Law Department of the company Giorgi Tsagareishvili told Civil Georgia.
 
Along with beer and “Cold Tea”, Kazbegi intends to export drinking water, cigarette and coffee to Iraq.

Owner of the company Gogi Topadze said the business will be very profitable, as Iraq is a huge market.
 
From next week the company starts to export beer to the United States as well.
