Opposition Held Protest Rally in Provincial Town

(Tbilisi, June 10 2003, Civil Georgia) – National Movement and United Democrats opposition parties held a protest rally in central Georgian town of Gori today.

?This unity of opposition should be the precondition for the end of this government,? Mikheil Saakashvili, Chairman of Tbilisi City Council and the leader of the National Movement said, while addressing the hundreds of residents of Gori.

Georgia without Shevardnadze ? was the main slogan of the anti-governmental protest rally in Gori.
