FIFA President Visits Tbilisi

(Tbilisi, May 24, 2003. Civil Georgia) – During the visit to Georgia on May 24, FIFA President Joseph Blatter and President Shevardnadze participated in the opening of the new soccer training facility, constructed with FIFA’s financial support.

“Now everything is up to the Georgian players. They showed us that they can play good” – Blatter said.

He also met with young participants of the Fox Kids Cup tournament and presented them FIFA souvenirs.
