Zhvania Wants to See Burjanadze in United Democrats

(Tbilisi. April 11, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Leader of the opposition United Democrats party Zurab Zhvania said in the interview to the Rustavi 2 TV channel on April 9 that he would like Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze to be a member of his party.

?She [Burjanadze] is very important and high-profile politician and certainly we would like to see her among us [United Democrats],? Zurab Zhvania, former Parliamentary Chairman said.

Zhvania also said that he has not talked with Nino Burjanadze regarding the issue.
