GUUAM Border Guard Commanders Meet in Tbilisi

(Tbilisi February 7, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Commander of the Border Guard Departments of the GUUAM (Georgia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Moldova) member states hold meeting in Georgian capital Tbilisi on February 7-8.

Georgian Border Guard Department reports that the issue of creation of the joint information data base will be discussed during the meeting.

President Shevardnadze intends to meet the border guard officials on February 8.
