US Military Instructors, Georgian Soldiers Commemorate 9/11 Victims

(Tbilisi, September 11, 2002, Civil Georgia) – At the Krtsanisi field camp, the US military instructors, which train Georgian anti-terrorist troops in frames of the Georgia Train-and-Equip program, together with the US ambassador in Georgia Richard Miles commemorated victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

“We hope that with the US support we will increase our defense capability to respond terrorism threat,” Joni Pirtskhalaishvili, Chief of General Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces stated at the commemorative ceremony today.
