Ivanov says Pankisi Operation a “Staged Show”

(Tbilisi, September 7, Civil Georgia) Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov speaking at the Ministry of Defense in Moscow called Georgia’s anti-criminal operation “a staged show.

“Ivanov said he “would evaluate the plot, staging work and performance of the actors as excellent, but the efficiency of the work is zero.” Russian Defense minister said Chechen “terrorists and boeviks” should be isolated, rounded up and extradited to Russia.
