One More Foreigner Attacked in Tbilisi

(Tbilisi, Civil Georgia, July 15, 2002) – Swedish citizen was violently attacked in Georgian capital Tbilisi on July 14.

Georgian Interior Ministry reports the Swedish citizen was beaten and robbed. Criminals took the victim’s car and hide away.

On June 18 British citizen Peter Shaw was kidnapped and still is detained in abduction. German businessman goes missing since July 2; his fate is unknown so far.
