By-Elections Appointed in Zugdidi, Khashuri

(Tbilisi, June 5, Civil Georgia) – Today Central Election Commission appointed by-elections in Zugdidi and Khashuri provincial districts for June 9.

Local elections were canceled in Zugdidi, western Georgia because of the total violations and the violence in the process of the elections.

In Khashuri, central part of Georgia, elections were canceled because the ballots were delivered to the constituencies in Khashuri with delay. 

By-elections will be held in Rustavi, main town of Kvemo Kartli region, on June 9 as well.
