Finance Minister Satisfied with Budgetary Success

(Tbilisi, April 2, Civil Georgia) – Finance Minister Zurab Nogaideli says the first three months of 2002 was successful in fulfilling state budget.

“The main problem in this respect remains Autonomous Republic of Adjara,” Zurab Nogaideli stated at the news briefing on April 2.

According to the Georgian Finance Minister in the last three months autonomous region refused to transfer the state budget 7 million Lari [approximately $3,5 million].

In late spring the government should make report to the Parliament on fulfillment of the budget.
