One Dies After the Explosion in Abkhazia

(Tbilisi, March 27, Civil Georgia) – One died and 15 wounded after the explosion of the train carriage in Abkhazia on March 27.

Breakaway Abkhazian authorities report that the train was en rout from Ochamchire to Sukhumi [capital of breakaway Abkahzia].

Security service representative of unrecognized Abkhazian republic told the Russian news agency Interfax that Georgian guerrillas masterminded terrorist act.

Georgian guerrillas announced in February that they will not carry out operations against Abkhazian fighters till the August, as they want to give chance to the peace process.
