Georgia to Import Electricity from Armenia
(Tbilisi. December 25. Civil Georgia) – American company AES signed an agreement with the Armenian authorities to import electricity for the Georgian capital Tbilisi on December 25. Georgia already imports electricity from Russia.
Explosion at the AES-Mtkvari energy station, owned by the American company AES caused the energy crisis in Tbilisi.
Davit Mirtskhulava, Georgian Energy Minister stated today that the electricity supply to the Tbilisi residents will improve.
