GCG Inc. States: Saakashvili is not the Company Founder

(Tbilisi. December 18. Civil Georgia) – Georgian Consulting Group Inc. (GCG) denied the accusation that ex-Justice Minister, MP Mikheil Saakashvili is one of the founders of the company.

A week ago team of the journalists issued a documentation detailing the commercial activities of a group of MPs headed by former speaker Zurab Zhvania and Mikhail Saakashvili.

Documentation suggested that the group controls several Georgian companies, including GCG, and has lobbied to enact legislation that facilitates corrupt practices.

Kote Rizhinashvili, founder of the GCG company, stated today at the special press conference that the company has nothing in common with Saakashvili and called the journalists’ investigation a political intrigue organized against the young reformers’ team.
