MP Shoots at Anticorruption Council Member

(Tbilisi. November 19. Civil Georgia) – Anticorruption Council member and representative of NGO “Liberty Institute” Givi Targamadze stated that independent MP Levan Pirveli fired at him in one of the restaurants of Tbilisi on November 18. No one was injured during the shooting.

Givi Targamadze states that the parliamentarian started to beat him without any reason and after fired for several times with his handgun. MP Levan Pirveli made no comments concerning the accident so far.

Couple of years ago Levan Pirveli was suspected in murder of a man in the restaurant but the court could not prove his guilt.
