(Tbilisi. November 6. Civil Georgia) – Signatures of MPs are being collected in the Parliament for initiating debates over the constitutional amendments. Reformers team in the Parliament insists on preliminary presidential and parliamentary elections.
Approximately 20 signatures are collected so far. 118 signatures of MPs are needed for initiating debates over the constitutional amendments.
President Shevardnadze stated that he is against preliminary elections on November 5.
