Shevardnadze in Adjara

President Shevardnadze visits Autonomous Republic of Adjara today. In Batumi President will meet Chairman of Supreme Council of Autonomous Republic of Adjara Aslan Abashidze.

It is anticipated that the recent political events and issue of the future candidate on the post of the Parliamentary Chairman will be discussed.

Official reason of the visit is the opening of the Univeristy in Batumi.
