MFA: Georgia Committed to Euro-Atlantic Aspiration

Georgia will remain strongly committed towards its Euro-Atlantic aspirations, despite Russia?s sanctions and ?aggressive statements,? the Georgian Foreign Ministry said on October 3.

Georgia said Russian sanctions against Georgia, including banning agricultural product imports, wine and mineral waters from Georgia, closing down the only legitimate border checkpoint at Zemo Larsi and cutting off all transport links, are ?politically motivated.?

The Georgian Foreign Ministry said that there is an anti-Georgian campaign in Russia ?which causes aggressive xenophobia.?

?Regrettably, Moscow does not understand that such a policy unmasks its true face in the eyes of the international community,? the Georgian Foreign Ministry said.
 
The Georgian Foreign Ministry expressed concern about permanent rallies staged by ?various aggressively-minded political forces? outside the Georgian Embassy in Moscow.
