Saakashvili: Georgia will not Tolerate Secessionist Conflicts

President Saakashvili said on September 18 that Georgia will no longer tolerate the existence of secessionist conflicts on its territory and added that he plans to push the issue in his speech at the 61st UN General Assembly in New York on September 22.

?I intend to use the UN rostrum in New York for telling the truth about the situation in Georgia; I intend to say that Georgia will no longer tolerate injustice and the infringement of our rights… We will no longer step back or keep silent. Nobody has ever or will ever intimidate us,? President Saakashvili said while opening a secondary school in the western Georgian city of Zugdidi.

The Georgian President plans to leave for New York on September 19.
