Secessionist Leaders Specify Mutual Assistance Details

South Ossetian leader Eduard Kokoity held a telephone conversation with Abkhaz leader Sergey Bagapsh on September 4 to discuss the current situation in the two breakaway regions, the South Ossetian Press and Information Committee reported.

According to the report, Kokoity and Bagapsh ?specified the details of mutual assistance in case of the escalation of tensions in the conflict zones.?

The South Ossetian leader stressed that Georgia wants to fuel tensions in the conflict zone and the September 3 helicopter incident was part of this plan.
