Georgian Official, EU Envoy Discuss Conflicts

Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Giorgi Manjgaladze held talks with EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Ambassador Peter Semneby, to discuss the EU’s role in the conflict resolution process in Georgia, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported on April 23.

The sides also discussed further deepening of political dialogue between Georgia and the European Union, as well as the results of the preliminary assessment mission carried out jointly by the EU Council and the European Commission in Georgia on January 15-19.
