Police Install CCTVs in Tbilisi

Police started installing of CCTV cameras in 70 major thoroughfare and public places in Tbilisi, the capital city Mayor Gigi Ugulava said on March 20.

?This is part of our campaign to turn Tbilisi into a secure city,? he said at a news conference.

Ugulava also said that at the next stage CCTV cameras will be installed outside the public schools in the capital city as well.

?We are moving towards the standards of a civilized city,? he added.
