Abkhazia Plans Air Maneuvers

Large-scale military exercises with the involvement of air defense troops and the air force of breakaway Abkhazia will be held on November 6-30, Abkhaz news agency Apsnipress reported on Friday.

Chief of staff of the breakaway region?s armed forces Anatoly Zaitsev said that it will be the first-ever joint military exercises by air defense and air forces in Abkhazia.

600 servicemen are expected to participate in the maneuvers. No other details are reported.
