Zourabichvili: Crisis Inevitable if Conflicts Remain Unsolved in 2006

Georgian Foreign Minister Salome Zourabichvili said during talks with British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw in London on October 11, that Georgia ?will face a crisis in 2007,? if no decisive and effective steps are taken in 2006 for resolving the frozen conflicts in Georgia, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported on Wednesday.

She also said that the peace process itself in both Abkhazia and South Ossetia is ?frozen? which is ?absolutely inadmissible? and ?it should be inadmissible for the international community as well.?

Salome Zourabichvili described Russia?s role in the Abkhaz and South Ossetian peace process as ?incomprehensible.?
