New Governor of Samegrelo Appointed

Kakha Ardia, former chief of the administration of Zugdidi, was appointed as the Governor of Samegrelo region on April 13, replacing Gigi Ugulava, who was appointed as the chief of the President?s Administration.
 
This staff reshuffle follows President Saakashvili?s decision to nominate chief of his administration Irakli Chubinishvili as Georgia?s Ambassador to the Russian Federation.
