Kokoity Speaks of Problems in JCC Activities

Problems in the negotiating process and the role of the quadripartite Joint Control Commission (JCC) in this process were discussed during talks between South Ossetian leader Eduard Kokoity and South Ossetian representatives in the JCC on April 17.

?Undoubtedly, there are particular drawbacks to the JCC; however, generally, a strategic line is preserved… Attempts to apply double standards to us are quite obvious and only further complicate negotiations,? the South Ossetian Press and Information Committee quoted Kokoity as saying.

South Ossetian chief negotiator Boris Chochiev noted at the meeting that consultations are planned within the framework of the JCC soon.
