Parliament Endorses Law on Formal Increase of MoD Troops

The Georgian Parliament approved at its third and final hearing a law envisaging a formal increase of the number of the Ministry of Defense (MoD) troops from the current 26 000 to 28 000 from next year.

According to official information, the actual number of MoD troops is currently 21,468.
