Border Guards, Interior Ministry Hold Joint Exercises

The Georgian Border Guard Department and the Interior Ministry launched joint exercises in the Gardabani district in southern Georgia on October 7.

The exercises aim at developing coordinated activities to eradicate any threats on the state border.

According to the Georgian Border Guard Department, about 150 servicemen participate in the exercises, which are led by Deputy Chairman of the Department, Gen. Korneli Salia.
