Georgia Participates in NATO Military Exercises in Ukraine

The military exercises Peace Shield ? 2005 were launched in Kiev, Ukraine on July 13 within the frames of the NATO Partnership for Peace (PfP).

According to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, 745 servicemen from 22 countries, including Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Moldova and Ukraine, are participating in the military exercises.
