Georgia Reiterates Support Towards US War Against Iraq

(Tbilisi February 10, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Georgian President Shevardnadze said in his radiobroadcast today that Georgia fully supports United States’ policy towards Iraq.

“Georgia is a small country and the US supports Georgia’s many efforts in many fields, thus Georgia will always support the US,” Eduard Shevardnadze said.

On February 3 President Shevardnadze said that he sent a letter to President George W. Bush, which reads that the regime producing weapon of mass destruction should be punished.
