Protesters Collect Signatures Demanding Shevardnadze’s Resignation

Protesters gathered in front of the Parliament started on November 12 to collect the signatures demanding President Eduard Shevardnadze’s resignation.

Up to 4,000 signatures have been collected so far. Mikheil Saakashvili, the opposition leader, said today, while addressing the protesters in front of the Parliament “we will collect one million signatures and submit the list to Shevardnadze.”
