Opposition Raises Campaign Funds

The nine-party opposition coalition has begun fundraising ahead of its protest campaign and the launch of “a mass hunger strike” on February 22 in about a dozen towns throughout Georgia.

The Conservative Party, part of the coalition, posted on its website bank account numbers for money transfers and even asked supporters to bring cash to the local offices of opposition parties.
