Georgia?s Interim President Nino Burjanadze, State Minister Zurab Zhvania and Finance Minister Zurab Noghaideli held talks with U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Lynn Pascoe via the video conference on December 18.
The video conference was held beyond the closed doors. After the conference, Georgian officials expressed satisfaction with talks.
?This was the first talks of this kind. The U.S. reiterated its readiness to assist Georgia in overcoming economic crisis,? Zurab Noghaideli said after the video conference.
