Georgia Wants to Transmit Governing Shares of Aircraft Factory

(Tbilisi February 13, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Georgian Ministry of State Property Management announces tender on transmitting governing shares of the “TbilAviaMsheni,” or Aircraft Factory No 31.

TbilAviaMsheni produces 4 modifications of Su 25 attack plane. The factory possesses a complete package of documentation and blueprints of the Su 25 aircraft. It is the only factory which is able to produce all its parts and assemble the plane.

According to the provisions of the tender the factory’s shares, which is controlled by the Georgina government at the moment, will be transmitted for 10-year period. The company willing to participate in tender should have at least 15-year experience of work in aircraft manufacturing sector.
