After holding talks in Tbilisi, Russian chief negotiator for the South Ossetian conflict Yuri Popov met with the unrecognized republic?s Vice-Premier, Boris Chochiev, in Tskhinvali on August 4.
The sides discussed an upcoming meeting of the quadripartite negotiating body Joint Control Commission (JCC), which is expected to be held by mid-August or early September, the South Ossetian Press and Information Committee reported.
After the talks, Chochiev said that the Russian side has offered to hold the JCC session in Moscow.
