Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Meets S.Ossetian Leader

Tbilisi?s ?puppet administration? led by Dimitri Sanakoev is a major obstacle to resolve the South Ossetian conflict, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on November 22.


Russia?s deputy foreign minister, Grigori Karasin, met with South Ossetian secessionist leader, Eduard Kokoity, in Moscow on November 22 to discuss the issue. The meeting was also attended by Yuri Zubakov, deputy secretary of the Russia?s National Security Council.


?The only way towards resolution of the conflict lies through negotiations between the sides in frames of existing negotiating formats,? the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
