Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin met with U.S. Ambassador to Russia William Burns on September 4 to discuss the August 6 missile incident in Georgia, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
The Russian side briefed Ambassador Burns on Russo-Georgian relations and acquainted him with the findings of the Russian investigatory group, which worked in Georgia on August 16-17 to probe into the missile incident.
