Sergey Shamba, the foreign minister of breakaway Abkhazia, will participate in a meeting of the UN Secretary General?s Group of Friends of Georgia, which will take place in Bonn, Germany on June 28-29, the Abkhaz news agency, Apsnipress, reported.
The meeting, the lastest in a series known as the Geneva Process, as the city has been the traditional venue for such meetings, will bring together France, Germany, Great Britain, Russia and the U.S. – the Group of Friends. Both the Georgian and Abkhaz sides have ordinarily attended, too.
State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues Merab Antadze is expected to represent Georgia at the meeting.
