President Saakashvili will pay an official visit to Turkey on December 19-21 to hold talks with his Turkish counterpart Ahmed Nejet Sezer, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and other officials.
Energy issues are expected to top the agenda of negotiations. Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey are currently in talks over redistribution of gas quotas from the Azerbaijani?s Shah-Deniz field.
Turkish media sources reported that a preferential trade agreement will also be signed during the Georgian President?s visit.
