Draft Resolution on Peacekeepers Unveiled

The Georgian Parliament unveiled on July 17 a text of draft resolution demanding immediate withdrawal of the Russian peacekeeping troops both from Abkhaz and South Ossetian conflict zones. The document will be discussed at the parliamentary session on July 18.


The draft resolution also instructs the Georgian government to immediately start work over cancellation of relevant agreements and mechanisms related with the Russian peacekeeping troops both in Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
